The delicate golden colour of a South Sea pearl has a charm that is difficult to mistake for anything else. It is not a uniform colour, but a subtle interplay of warm reflections that change with the light. This 10-11 mm Golden South Sea pearl pendant brings out precisely this natural beauty in an elegant piece of jewellery, where the pearl remains the centre of attention.

South Sea pearls are considered the "queens of pearls", and their golden shades are among the most highly prized. The round pearl, of AAA quality, impresses with its generous 10-11 mm size, deep, velvety lustre and beautiful surface.

The design allows the pearl to be admired from almost every angle, while the pendant's classic lines give it an elegance that is independent of changing fashion trends.

Worn around the neck on a fine gold chain, this golden pearl pendant brings light and warmth to an outfit. It is impressive enough to be worn at a special event, yet can look just as beautiful with a white shirt, a simple dress or an elegant daytime outfit. It is one of those pieces of jewellery you choose for the pleasure of wearing it, rather than simply for a particular occasion.

A Golden South Sea pearl pendant is also a wonderful gift for a woman close to your heart. It can mark an anniversary, an important moment or simply be given out of a desire to offer something precious. The pendant is presented in a complimentary premium wooden gift box and comes with the KASKADDA certificate of warranty and authenticity. With proper care, South Sea pearl jewellery can be preserved and passed down from generation to generation, together with the memories it carries.

The 10-11 mm size already gives the pearl a remarkable presence. If you love even larger pearls, you can also discover the 11-12 mm Golden South Sea pearl pendant or the 12-13 mm version, with an even more pronounced visual impact. For those who love truly impressive pearls, there is also the 13-13.5 mm Golden South Sea pearl pendant. Each size has its own beauty, and the choice depends on personal preferences and how you wish to wear the jewellery.

About South Sea Pearls:

  • The value of a South Sea pearl is influenced not only by its size and any surface imperfections, but also by the intensity of its colour. Shades range from white with silvery overtones, characteristic of this pearl variety, to pale yellow and deep gold. The most valuable pearls have a colour approaching that of 24K gold.
  • Unlike the mirror-like lustre of Akoya pearls, South Sea pearls have a satin-like appearance and seem to glow from within.
  • White South Sea pearls come primarily from Australia, while golden varieties are mainly cultured in the Philippines and Indonesia. They are traded at exclusive auctions held only a few times a year in Japan and Hong Kong, where they are sold in mixed lots (white + golden). Because of their rarity, worldwide supplies are very limited, and only a small number of jewellery retailers offer pieces featuring these pearls.
  • They have the thickest nacre layers of all pearls - between 2 and 4 mm - and the longest formation period. By comparison, an Akoya pearl forms in approximately 2 years, a Tahitian pearl in 2-3 years, while a South Sea pearl may take up to 4 years to develop.
  • Pearl size is an important consideration when choosing the right piece of jewellery:
    • South Sea pearls measuring 8-10 mm are suitable for the office or formal meetings.
    • Pearls measuring 11-13 mm, opulent and elegant, are worn in the evening, at celebrations or special events.
