A strand of Golden South Sea pearls of this size is a rare encounter with the beauty of nature. Each pearl has been selected not only for its individual qualities, but also for the way it harmonises with the others. From the rich, warm golden tones to the deep lustre and exceptionally clean surfaces, every detail contributes to the beauty of this 10-13 mm Golden South Sea pearl necklace, AAA quality.

South Sea pearls are known as the "queens of pearls", and a strand featuring such large, round pearls of exceptional quality is all the more remarkable. It is not enough for each pearl to be beautiful on its own. For the entire necklace to achieve harmony, the pearls must closely match in colour, lustre, shape and surface appearance. It is precisely this attention to selection that makes the difference between an ordinary pearl strand and a truly outstanding piece of jewellery.

The pearls are arranged in a graduated design, from approximately 10 mm towards the ends of the strand to 13 mm at the centre. This arrangement enhances their beauty and creates an elegant line around the neck. The golden reflections flow naturally from one pearl to another, while their impressive dimensions give the necklace a presence that few other pieces of jewellery can match.

Measuring approximately 43 cm in length, the necklace follows the base of the neck, depending on the wearer's proportions, and beautifully enhances the neckline. The 14K yellow gold (585 gold) clasp complements the pearls' warm colour. The classic design keeps all attention on the pearl strand, without decorative elements competing with its beauty.

This is a necklace for evenings worth remembering. For a gala, an exceptional reception, an opera premiere or a gala symphony concert, when the elegance of an outfit meets the significance of the occasion. Paired with a carefully chosen evening gown, the golden pearls become the focal point of the entire look. They need no other jewellery to compete with their radiance.

A South Sea pearl strand of such beauty also has a way of changing how a woman feels when she wears it. Not because she needs a piece of jewellery to affirm her elegance, but for the pleasure of wearing something rare, carefully selected, on a special occasion. It is a beauty that can be felt as much as it can be seen, and the memory of an evening may forever remain associated with the jewellery worn on that occasion.

Given as a gift, a necklace like this is a gesture of particular significance. It may mark an important anniversary, a family milestone or an exceptional achievement. It is one of those pieces of jewellery that are never chosen in haste and that, over time, can become part of a family's history. With proper care, South Sea pearls can be preserved and passed down from generation to generation, together with the stories and memories of those who have worn them.

The necklace is presented in a complimentary premium wooden gift box and is accompanied by the KASKADDA certificate of warranty and authenticity.

The beauty of such a pearl strand cannot be reduced to the size of its pearls or the intensity of their colour. It lies in the balance of the entire piece, in the way the pearls complement one another and in the harmony they create when worn. A 10-13 mm Golden South Sea pearl necklace is, above all, a celebration of natural beauty in one of its most precious forms.

About South Sea Pearls:

  • The value of a South Sea pearl is influenced not only by its size and any surface imperfections, but also by the intensity of its colour. Shades range from white with silvery overtones, characteristic of this pearl variety, to pale yellow and deep gold. The most valuable pearls have a colour approaching that of 24K gold.
  • Unlike the mirror-like lustre of Akoya pearls, South Sea pearls have a satin-like appearance and seem to glow from within.
  • White South Sea pearls come primarily from Australia, while golden varieties are mainly cultured in the Philippines and Indonesia. They are traded at exclusive auctions held only a few times a year in Japan and Hong Kong, where they are sold in mixed lots (white + golden). Because of their rarity, worldwide supplies are very limited, and only a small number of jewellery retailers offer pieces featuring these pearls.
  • They have the thickest nacre layers of all pearls - between 2 and 4 mm - and the longest formation period. By comparison, an Akoya pearl forms in approximately 2 years, a Tahitian pearl in 2-3 years, while a South Sea pearl may take up to 4 years to develop.
  • Pearl size is an important consideration when choosing the right piece of jewellery:
    • South Sea pearls measuring 8-10 mm are suitable for the office or formal meetings.
    • Pearls measuring 11-13 mm, opulent and elegant, are worn in the evening, at celebrations or special events.
